Pre- Kindergarten and Kindergarten Swim with the Rainbow Fish

Pre- Kindergarten and Kindergarten students read the story the Rainbow fish. As a class we talked about beauty and the value of sharing and kindness. Each student then created two paper fish, sewed them partially around the edges and stuffed them. After the fish took shape, they sewed the final opening closed and had their own fish sculpture. Each student then got to make two rainbow scales, that they shared with a classmate. Our Rainbow fish are swimming in the library, so go take a look at the fish and read the story!
